ב-22 באוקטובר משטרת וינה הודיעה כי היא חוקרת את מותו המסתורי של Timothy Hampton, מומחה לאנרגיה גרעינית שעסק בימיו האחרונים במשא ומתן בין איראן לארה"ב. המפטון נהרג לאחר שנפל מהקומה ה-17 של בניין האו"ם בוינה.        עובדים של האו"ם טענו כי לאחרונה היה מקרה דומה של עובד אשר נהרג כאשר נפל בחדר המדרגות מגובה דומה ובכלל לדעת משטרת וינה כל הרמזים מצבעים על התאבדות.

היום מתפרסם כי לאחר ניתוח הגופה ככל הנראה שלא מדובר בהתאבדות. ההצעה שלי לאו"ם היא לבדוק גם את הסיפור המלא של הבחור שנפל גובה דומה בחדר המדרגות, כי זה מתחיל לראות כמו דפוס פעולה של רוצח ולא מגפת התאבדויות.
