אני מניח שהכותרת והמילים כמעט שמסגירות את כל הסיפור, אבל בכל זאת אכתוב אותו.
rezso seress
מדובר בשיר שכתב Rezso Seress (מלחין הונגרי), בשנת 1933. השיר מספר על זוועות החברה המודרנית והאגדה האורבנית מספרת שהשיר הוביל מאות אנשים להתאבדות. השיר מוכר יותר בביצוע של בילי הולידי Gloomy sunday, אך המילים בשיר זה אינן התרגום של המילים המקוריות אלא של László Jávor. השיר בכל גירסאותיו נתקל בקשיים לשידור בתוכניות הרדיו וה- BBC אף אסר על שידור הגירסא הרכה של בילי הולידי. המילים של Seress היו הרבה יותר קשות לטעמי, אבל אני לא מצליח למצוא שום ביצוע שפוי למקור.
